Katy and I had a great time last night at UnKorked in Wentzville. Great food and wine selection as well as beer.... yep they got it all and its all in a awesome outdoor setting. Stop on by this Thursday night we will be back there from 6-9 pm! See ya then!

Bobby Cage Performimg Smile For Me on U-Tube I have not been on for a long time. I would like to say thanks for all of the recent radio plays. I was planning a quick jaunt down to music city but then the flood hit that week. Still trying to plan a trip down. Also planning a video post on u-tube. Hope to get it up this week. When I do I will post it on my front page. If you're like me, you find yourself asking yourself this question more and more these days. Surprisingly you're probably also finding out that you don't need what ever it was you were questioning and really wonder why the heck you spent your hard earned money on the item/service in the first place.
I am first to admit, I am old school by todays standards. I find myself resisting new trends.... well alot of times I do. On many others I embrace them almost imediately. Why? Well, alot of stuff I see just seems like useless junk just there to soak up your hard earned cash. Example? Warranties. For the most part they are worthless. Usually the part that breaks and wipes out all of the parts that are covered...is not covered. Another example...one you, like me might find hard to break away from...is the LAND PHONE LINE in your house. If you and all of your other family members have a cell phone that has free long distance....why do you pay 40-100 bucks a month for a land line ??? I am finding this one very hard to break away from. I guess because I can remember family members- neighbors that did not have phones when I was a kid.That, or they had a party line. Yeah, you remember party lines? Everytime you had to use the phone you would pick it up and it was in use... I never really understood that one either. The phone company is not very understanding. I have talked to them several times and told them do they have a service for about 19.95 a month? I would keep the land line just for emergencies, I mean after all I never get any calls on this line now anyway. When I do I know its salesman calling.....but no....they have to gouge you with fees...taxes.State & city, county taxes. Over & under use fees. Its a money grab now. Sad. So Sad So I ask myself......do I really need this. You know the answer to this question. If companies have reviewed your account and decided you need to pay more....review theirs and see if you can loose them altogether. If you are like me, you will be really surprised by all of the excesses you can get rid of! I don't know about you. But I struggle to remember a nicer Easter Sunday than the one we had yesterday. Perfect weather, sunny, mild.... AWESOME! I hope yours was as good as mine. Got together with family, enjoyed the weather and plotted out the coming months. Yes, this year like all the other before it is FLYING BY! If you get a chance, come out and see PARKROAD this Saturday night at BAHA ROCK CLUB Main street St. Charles Mo. 9-1
I guess I could be considered one of them. Woke up the other day and this site had crashed. Have no idea why. It finally came back up but the ol web counter is still not working. I remember about two weeks ago I recieved 2456 hits over night. Never could figure that out.Somebody suggested that I got a couple plays from my friends down under...if that's the case...THANKS A BUNCH! I'm sure there is a simpler explaination. More like this computer moron pushed the wrong button somewhere...LOL!
At any rate Katy and I thank all who came out and checked out our new songlist and Katy breaking out the flute on a few new songs at the Rendezvous Thursday night, we love performing there. I am currently slated to perform at the O'Fallon Founders day festival on May 1st. I will keep you posted. Its going to be in a different capacity that I have performed locally before so it should be fun. I will keep you posted. I am going out to play in the sun, so talk to you soon! B |
